Since I was a wee girl, I have wanted to share good energy with the world. To pour out love.

This is part of the reason I became a ballet dancer, and most of the reason I am going through a certification process as a meditation teacher.

I would like this blog to live up to my girlhood dreams.

I don’t want it to be political.

I don’t want it to be filled with complaints.

I don’t want to create more stress and despair.

I want you to come to my website, and feel relief. To feel understood. To feel comforted.

If something sad or scary happens in the world, you won’t read any analysis here.

I’m not going to trap us in that destructive cycle.

There will just be more positive sharing.

I’m not in denial. I am well aware of what is happening in our world. But, creating stress by dwelling on these events adds more suffering to the world instead of alleviating it.

My mission is to teach about gentleness. In the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, gentleness is referred to as ‘Ahimsa.’ The rough translation from Sanskrit is ‘non-harming.’

If you are reading this post, I know that Ahimsa is important to you, too. But we must not forget that the cycle of gentleness includes others and ourselves.
