The word responsibility calls to mind being scolded by an adult as a child or adolescent, rightly or exasperatedly.
Perhaps the word recalls the first time you had to pay taxes, or feels more like obligation. The weight of a rock on your chest. An annoyance.
But, what if responsibility was simply about making empowering choices?
Something that feels solid, emotionally comforting, with a positive momentum.
What if it was about choosing freedom, rather than restriction?
What if it was about liberating our self-respect, so that we could do better for others?
Ultimately, we need to do better for ourselves, too.
When we are liberated we can do more, from a place of ease.
Where do you need more self-empowerment?
